After Pres. Obama signed us up to spend untold billions in developing countries on energy & associated infrastructure, everyone was betting uranium prices would at least double.

Uranium One is just a drop in a global bucket of us getting energy screwed.

oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-…
Oh well, I'm sure no one was upset that since @POTUS kicked the Paris Accord to the curb the price of Uranium crashed.
Ok, it's possible that all of those mega-energy & mining companies that made spiffy deals during Obama's 1st term may be slightly pissed.
Ever heard of that Clinton foundation thingy?
Bill Clinton goes to Australia to talk about kids? at a forum sponsored by a private energy & infrastructure company in June 2010. brisbanetimes.com.au/national/queen…
In November 2010 Sec. of State Hillary shows up in Australia to talk about..kids? and a few days later Australia ratifies a uranium agreement with Russia. world-nuclear-news.org/NP-Australia_s…
Feb. 2009 Hillary goes to Japan. cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/…
May 2009 Japan and Russia become uranium bffs.

telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews…
Those are just two examples, you can find LOTS of uranium fun 2008 - 2012 with an advanced search. You might find that everyone in Congress knew about the uranium one deal. washingtontimes.com/news/2010/oct/…
You might find that the Obama admin knew that Russia had used bribery, kickbacks and extortion to get a stake in the US atomic energy industry — but cut deals giving Moscow control of a large chunk of the US uranium supply anyway. nypost.com/2017/10/17/fbi…
You might find that nevertrumper judge-blocker Jeff Flake was a lobbyist for Rossing Uranium, a mine in Namibia that is partially owned by...Iran.

This uranium stuff pops up in the oddest places eh?

foxnews.com/us/past-lobbyi…
With the right search, you can learn all about the super corrupt kazakhstan government + uranium, gas & oil during 2008-2010.
You may get the idea that the Obama admin was setting up a global move to nuclear power and gosh you'd need lots of uranium for that.
If you look, you'll find lots and lots of nuclear power kids wanting to save us.
iaea.org/node/41617
If you look at who it is that desperately needs @POTUS to not have a 2nd term, I believe you'd have a hard time finding anyone who stands to gain more than the massive global energy & mining cabal who lost trillions when we left the Paris Accord.
As my friend @CarmineZozzora said long ago, it's Trump vs World, and he couldn't have been more correct.
They need Pres. Trump impeached & out of office. Funny thing that the GOP managed to lose the House using the worst messaging ever isn't it?
Do you trust the Senate?
I don't.
If I was a uranium loving global energy cabal, I'd use every bit of leverage I have on the worlds politicians and throw scads of money at media outlets to create a daily drumbeat for @realDonaldTrump to be investigated for, well, everything, and thrown out of office ASAP.
If I was a uranium loving global energy cabal I'd have balls big enough to claim that @POTUS colluded with Russia to win the election even though candidate Trump hated the Paris Accord and it would mean Russia would lose trillions of badly needed rubles if he didn't "play ball".
So during the 1st Obama admin. there's our START treaty with Russia, Hilly appears to have arranged several uranium deals between Russia and several of our allies, and our own 123 Nuclear agreement with Russia.
Ready, set, reset!

Obama Executive Order 13603 of March 16, 2012
National Defense Resources Preparedness

ho-hum stuff about Resource management during emergencies that'sjust a re-hash of the same EO from previous administrations
EXCEPT now it also applies in non-emergencies
Now each Dept. Head has been given Presidential authority to prioritize contracts, loans, subsidies, etc etc. as a daily thing.
I'm sure that's never going to be abused in any way! I'll get to that in a bit.
en.wikisource.org/wiki/Executive…
Mar 27th 2012 you may remember Pres. Obama getting flexible for Russia.
btw That flexible thing was around same time that the Magnitzky Act with its pesky Russian sanctions is rolling through Congress.
June 2012 Pres. Obama signs a cleverly misworded EO. obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/the-press-offi…
Executive Order--Russian Highly Enriched Uranium
EXECUTIVE ORDER
BLOCKING PROPERTY OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION RELATING TO THE DISPOSITION OF HIGHLY ENRICHED URANIUM EXTRACTED FROM NUCLEAR WEAPONS
"Blocking Property" isn't what you might think it is.
Basically this ensures that no matter what, Russian assets or funds that have to do with our HEU agreements with Russia can't be touched without permission from the POTUS.
*disclaimer* that's how I read it
Here's a very detailed 2013 study from the Dept of Energy
"Critical Analysis of World Uranium Resources"
Projections to 2035 - Projections beyond 2035 and the Summary are fun. pubs.usgs.gov/sir/2012/5239/…
"Predictions that show expansion of nuclear capacity as ranging from 40 - 120 percent of current capacity by 2035 will strain capacity for developing supply. NEA estimates that operating and developing mines will be capable of satisfying ONLY 80 percent of demand......
...for the low-growth scenarios, and ONLY 50 percent of demand for the high-growth scenarios. Recognizing this potential shortfall, some utilities are buying into primary supply at the mine site rather than relying on uranium suppliers or brokers."
So, if there's a high demand for uranium through 2035, you can expect a supply shortfall...which translates to our government telling every Energy supplier in the world that, " hey...uranium prices are going to skyrocket".
"Additional concerns include the possibility that the stability of future primary uranium supplies will decrease. More primary uranium will be supplied from Kazakhstan, Africa (Namibia, Niger), Australia, and Canada,...
with production from others remaining flat. Production in Australia
is tied to the large Olympic Dam deposit,& Canada largely
depends on developing the Cigar Lake & the
Midwest mines. The dependence of supply on large
individual uranium properties & countries adds uncertainty."
Ok, so if there was an increased demand for uranium, the price of the stuff is going to go up and some people who had WILDLY GUESSED (lucky bastas) that the price of uranium would go up are going to make a friggn bunch of money.
You may have heard this before, but this was Jan 2015.
btw the Paris Accord was adopted by consensus on 12 December 2015, & signed April 2016
Ok, great, they're going to fix the climate but how to achieve the goal?
Looks like the only way to do it is to include lots of new nuclear reactors in the solution. I say that because that's what these experts at Centrus Energy tell me in Mar 2016 .centrusenergy.com/news/two-reaso…
"The historic Paris agreement sets an ambitious target to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. But scientists agree that EVEN IF ALL 188 national commitments under that pact are fully implemented, WE WILL MISS THAT MARK by more than 2°C......
...Meeting the rising global demand for energy while simultaneously cutting carbon emissions will not be easy. By 2050, meeting the Paris targets would require the world to CUT carbon emissions by up to 70 percent WHILE PRODUCING 70 percent more electricity.......
..Even with ambitious roles for efficiency, renewable energy, &carbon capture and sequestration, the International Energy Agency concludes that averting the consequences of climate change will require more than doubling the world’s nuclear energy capacity over the next 20 years."
MORE than DOUBLE nuclear energy by 2035! So why should we listen to Centrus Energy? It's because their CEO since Mar 2015 is Daniel Poneman, who just coincidentally was the head of the Dept. of Energy under Pres. Obama . centrusenergy.com/news/daniel-po…
Remember that Executive Order about contracts I just mentioned...here's a funny thing that the Daniel Poneman Dept. of Energy did with Centrus Energy. All perfectly legit of course, just coincidence of course. usnews.com/opinion/econom…
"The corporation reapplied with a small amount of private support in 2010, but the prospects for the project hadn't improved. Its stock price soon began to tumble.
In a move that kept the company afloat, the Department of Energy eventually agreed to fund.....
.. a much smaller research, development and demonstration version of the project. From June 2012 to April 2014, the Department of Energy spent $280 million funding 80 percent of the endeavor....
In Mar 2014 Centrus filed for bankruptcy.
But that didn't stop the Dept of Energy or Congress from funneling it more money. The 2014 Omnibus allowed the Department of Energy to give the company nearly $119 million, even though it had just announced plans to file for bankruptcy"
btw Centrus Stock is very affordable right now
nowhere to go but UP for quite some time eh..
3 days ago: Buy Uranium! cuz "Uranium miners were slow to cut supply in response. Most sales were locked in through long-term contracts pre-2011, so the spot price barely mattered to them. Now those contracts are starting to expire; few extend past 2020."economist.com/finance-and-ec…
The Green Climate fund has a shortfall in funding because @POTUS took us out of the deal, but no worries..France's Pres. Macron promised to pick up the slack...I wonder if that's why such a big gas tax was needed. oops! foxnews.com/world/frances-…
France's Pres. Macron campaigned on getting rid of nuclear energy, but here's a fun thing, he's delaying decommissioning until.......2035.
Funny he picked that year isn't it?
pv-magazine.com/2018/11/27/mac…
If you do a simple search for "2035 uranium" I promise you'll find lots of people telling you that we're all going to die cuz Climate Change if we don't follow the International Atomic Energy Agency recommendations to build more nuclear reactors. iaea.org/topics/nuclear…
This is totally unrelated to anything else in the world, but did you know that when mining another limited resource used mainly for fertilizer, namely, phosphate rock, that you can also get uranium?
Hiya Russia & Iran! english.enabbaladi.net/archives/2017/…
To me, it looks like they're using Climate as an excuse to open the uranium market to everyone in the world, including Iran, and then, by virtue of a climate accord get the taxpayers of every developed country in the world to subsidize all of it while they make trillions.💰
Fun!
Hmm.. I wonder if any other Dept. Heads under Pres. Obama are now working on climate change stuff?
Hiya former EPA chief Gina McCarthy! pri.org/stories/2018-0…
Hiya former Interior Secretary Sally Jewell!

seattletimes.com/seattle-news/f…
This thread isn't about what's true or not true about the guesses made by climate change scientists.
It's about our totally corrupt political puppets using the power we gave them to set up a very small group of people to get even richer than they already are, at our expense.
When @POTUS withdrew us from the Paris Climate Agreement, just like he said he'd do during his campaign, he made a lot of powerful enemies that want him
OUT.
Too bad they didn't have an insurance policy for that!
