when i was 12 i just did not expect the "jet fuel can't melt steel beams" crowd to actually become the dominant american political perspective, and it's not like things weren't plenty fucked even then
i'm still just reeling that the country is being ransacked and destroyed and set on fire by moon landing deniers and flat earthers and every other type of weakbrained fuck face who has zero capacity for accepting anything on its face
I cannot believe they won. I cannot believe that facts mean absolutely nothing, that video footage means nothing, that sworn testimony from dozens of people with decades old political track records means nothing. The enormity of it is impossible to accept.
It is literally impossible for my brain to accept how bad things are, how terrifying this nation is to exist in. We elect people and the literal convicted serial rapists in office immediately pass laws to nullify the election, and we do nothing. Nobody hangs.
I see no way out. No hope except war.
This will end when people take up arms. I cannot accept any other outcome. Everyone who has an ounce of access to politics has brain worms, they offer no promise whatsoever.
this is why my belief over the last four years has become increasingly muddled and confused between "ban all guns" and "every able queer has a duty to buy as many as possible to arm their peers when the war of white nationalism starts"
i no longer know which one i believe. maybe the gun-fucking racists are right, maybe we should all be armed, so when they do an atrocity in public we can kill them in a hail of bullets so numerous nobody can be prosecuted by our corrupt and hollow government
