The kid compared a real estate listing to a video & narrowed it down to a general area. Nothing that many don't already know.
It was not worth driving five hours across the country to threaten him at 7am.

Furthermore, there are individuals who *do* know his address, have threatened to release it, but that would require a bit of work - much easier to threaten a young man who was a bit quick on the trigger.
Finally, the young man was just making a point many have made - 'Tommy' has grown rich from hate.
Again, certainly not worth driving 5 hours through the night to doorstop a terrified family.
