Breaking news: UK Government reveal they still don't understand how negotiations work, and that their negotiating objectives for the long term economic relationship are inconsistent with no border in Ireland
In the early days after the referendum other EU Member States took a defensive position as they genuinely feared UK negotiating strength. Now they take a defensive position to avoid contamination by what many see as the most incompetently handled negotiation they have ever seen.

I note tonight's Question Time has two different factions of Conservative MP represented. Perhaps balance in the future could be based on a split between those peddling fantasy solutions, and those more grounded in reality
