Having good manners is important. It is good to be polite, courteous & have respect for others & your surrounding.

Here are tips on good manners & etiquette when invited for lunch/ dinner/ party this December at someone's place #BankForInterestingPeople

1. If you are invited somewhere this December, please RSVP & confirm your attendance. If you can't make it, tell your host early enough #BankForInterestingPeople

2. Please Keep time when going for lunch/dinner/ bash this December. Find out what time you need to arrive at your host. If running late, communicate, communicate and communicate #BankForInterestingPeople

3. Make an effort to look presentable when going to your host. Spruce up, clean Up & touch up. Leave behind the promotional branded t shirts & cheers baba Bermuda shorts #BankForInterestingPeople

4. A guest never shows up empty-handed. Please Carry a gift with you, make an effort. It's an act of appreciation to the Host for the invitation #BankForInterestingPeople

5. Please do not bring/ carry a plus one or two or three to the host's house this December unless Your host says so/ permits. The invite is for one unless communicated otherwise #BankForInterestingPeople

6. Always ask your host if you can take a picture of their house/ surrounding before posting on any social media platform. Don't assume everyone is OK with their house pics being posted on the TL #BankForInterestingPeople

7. Only serve food that you can consume at a go. There's plenty of food; you don't need to have an overflowing plate like everyone does at Kenyan weddings. You are allowed to go for more servings i believe #BankForInterestingPeople

8. Do not get over the top drunk at the Host's place and cause massive drama. If you can handle your drink, well and good. But drama, doesn't look good #BankForInterestingPeople

9. Do not over stay. Leave when all is said and done. The invite read lunch/ dinner not sleep over unless the Host says otherwise. Ask them if they need help in cleaning Up #BankForInterestingPeople

10. Last but not least, when all is said and done, Thank your Host. Send a Thank you note or sms or A phone call.

Also please this December, let them know you got home safe and sound #BankForInterestingPeople
