A Sheffield company has spent £3 million on Brexit preparations. Their boss said he "can't see anything positive about Brexit", and noted that it was “dead money” that could have been spent “recruiting, developing and training people.”

Stories like this must be repeating all across the UK. It's just that most companies are taking the hit quietly, rather than reaching out to the press. (It's unfortunate... If more firms were willing to go on the record, we'd have a much better idea of Brexit's impact).

I’m a @UKLabour member living in London. I’m an ex-candidate. I would love to hear @johnmcdonnellMP speak with Jenny Manson tomorrow but my ticket has just been cancelled by Jenny’s team.
I’d love to know why.
I’d guess it’s because I’m the wrong type of Jew, a Zionist.

This is how the event appears currently on @eventbrite so it’s going ahead, just without Jews in attendance.

Of course it’s ok for press to be accredited but oddly they’re not accrediting Jewish press or Jewish journalists.

Now that Turkey is just decades away from joining the EU I am so relieved. all that Turkish EU membership required was a simultaneous act of mass political suicide by multiple East European governments and a few western ones too which is clearly very likely

Jaguar Land Rover recently agreed 2 build a new plant in Slovakia with EU grant, owned by Tata, same company who trashed our steel industry & emptied workers pension funds.
