2) Today, Tory Fibs, a leading Labour commentator put out a summary of the Labour Brexit position. Other than a Veto on EU trade deals & no controls on state aid it reflects the position put forward by all Labour spokespeople

3) the last people to talk about Single Market "access" were Johnson, Gove & the Vote Leave campaign. It was used to lie to people, to pretend that we could get the same benefits inside as well as outside the EU

4) it's the same lie, because "skills based immigration" is the same as "points based immigration" which is the same as "End Free Movement", with the added twist that a socialist government would value foreigners only as economic units not individuals
5) so here's the kicker, you can call it politics or strategy or "not splitting the vote"

6) saying you can have a close relationship with the SM, or access to the FM, or exact same benefits as the SM without Free Movement is the exact same lie.

7) this new kind of politics, honest &, straightforward, is the biggest lie of all. The front bench sends out spokespeople day after day, who's only defence might be they are too foolish to realise they are misleading the public
8) Labour supporters will have to come to terms with this, the Leadership is the new Vote Leave, and Vote Leave got us in this mess.

9) but in the end its not even a matter of debate. The hard leave brexiters are headbangers but at least they have a core idea, Corbyn's leadership have nothing, just techniques on deceit from the Vote Leave playbook
