3) Next, I discovered this "follow and mute" thing I believe many people engage in, which I don't understand.

4) ...which doesn't make any sense if you turn around and mute the person you just followed.
5) I was not a social media hound before I came here. I came mainly because of Q, and decided I was working on the research boards, and wanted to transition that collective knowledge here.
6) I also discovered that there were some accounts that helped me do research and connect dots. So I started following a few people. That list went from 1 (POTUS) to 5 to 11, to 16, to 21, and now 30...
7) I read every single tweet from every account I follow. I never counted followers, though I am grateful for all of those that do, but not so much for anyone that plays the "follow and mute" game I discovered.
8) I have never done that once (follow and mute) and I read every single tweet that I follow, and response to any tweet I send.
I think this is the way this platform should function, regardless of whoever discovered some ways to game the system.

9) It's been a few months since I discovered this is what was going on, because I couldn't understand how someone following thousands of people could possibly weed thru that many tweets, I mean 30 takes a long time for me. Now I understand.
10) I'm not suggesting anyone do anything or change their behavior, but I feel compelled to share my belief that if you follow someone you should actually listen to what they have to say.

12) My loving wife often stresses that my honesty doesn't always work in every situation, and I accept that. Which leads me to believe there will be a substantially muted reaction to these 12 tweets since I called people out that engage in follow and mute. I don't fault anyone.
