New: DC and MD have dismissed their claims against Trump in his *individual* capacity in the emoluments clause case. They're still proceeding against him in his *official* capacity as president, though, so the case is very much still on assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5638… 
Why does this matter? The rulings so far allowing the case to go forward have involved the official capacity claims (DOJ recently appealed to the 4th Circuit) — the judge hasn't ruled yet on the individual capacity claims. This dismissal means the case won't proceed on two tracks
