Sometimes I think Corbyn himself is a mass experiment in confirmation bias. People hear exactly what they want to hear from him, and are surprised when his actual views - which couldn’t be clearer if you actually listen to him - come clear. He. Is. A. Eurosceptic.
People often seem to defend Corbyn by overlaying some other persona with different political views on top of him. It won’t change reality, just make people feel better about voting for him
I do appreciate that most people are not obsessively interested in politics and it’s only when a politician does a big interview that they take notice. But still.
