Looking at the specific fingerprints in apparently the secret NYT document that @jeffgiesea broke describing #projectBirmingham, we couldnt find a single occurrence of the hashtag #nomoore in our partial archive of #Hamilton68 accounts. More unanswered ???
So how involved was Reid Hoffman and Jonathan Morgan of New Knowledge in #projectBirmingham via apparently a separate group called American Engagement Technologies? This WashPo reporting suggests some involvement but how much isn't clear #infosec #osint washingtonpost.com/technology/201… 
So who is behind "American Engagement Technologies" which appears to be the group that wrote the report and possibly created the frankly very badly done fake Russian twitter bots and not @jonathonmorgan ?
As u might expect Russian leaning / influencer accounts that make up #Hamilton68 had a field day with #projectbirmingham news of a domestic disinfo campaign during the Roy Moore #ALsen race. We looked at the timing of the activity between Dec 27th & 28th & it peaked at 3:00 am
Since #Hamilton68 dashboard is currently down we did an update on our reversed engineered Hamilton68 accnts. Our subset of Russian geopolitics focused accnts ( 88 unique accnts) continue 2b focused on #Syria, unrest in France and #Ukraine. #Giletsjaunes was tops most recently
Our subset of #Hamilton68 troll accnts focused on US politics ( 170 unique accnts) continue 2b push the #buildthewall hashtag & the hashtag #gofundthewall from before Christmas has fallen out of favor. #fakenews jumped up and the Roy Moore & Alabama keywords made it on the board
We are starting to get a working theory on how the bot subsets (3 different ones in our #Hamilton68 grouping) that are potentially Russian controlled and include news / fakenews bots create a synergy with the troll / cyborg accounts.
In the Russian geopolitics focused subset the hashtags #manbij which appears to be Syria related was new and the hashtags #acte7 and #actevii which appear related to #giletsjaunes were new. These were the biggest newcomers to our #hamilton68 set of accounts.
