It appears true love is a casualty of the government shutdown: the Marriage Bureau at DC Superior Court is *closed* — the local courts in DC are funded via federal appropriations. The courts are open, but operations are affected dccourts.gov
To be clear - this means no one can get a marriage license to get married within the District of Columbia right now
