I have always looked at Life as the opportunity we all have to “Solve a Series of Problems”. This #Mindset has made it easier for me to always think of a Problem hard enough that I can attempt a new way of solving it without feeling the pressure of existing ways.
I totally do not believe that Citizens are Powerless. I firmly believe that every Citizen is more Powerful than they realize. Even under military rule when I was younger, the thought of powerlessness never crossed my mind.
Getting Citizens to KNOW this is a Problem solved daily.

Today is exactly 3 months since I declared to run for President in the February 2019 election.
The first phase of my engagement was to transition in the minds of Citizens from Technocrat, Activist, Policy & Development expert to a Politician with a Disruption agenda.
It worked.

Transitioning from Technocrat, Activist, Policy & Development expert to a Politician in 3 months was an uphill task but guess who made it extremely easy for me to achieve?
Citizens! Yes. Regular everyday Citizens of our country who inspired and empowered me with their words.

My one-on-one engagement with Citizens over the last 3 months since I took the plunge into Politics revealed something that those who are trapped in “traditional ways” of solving problems have not cared to understand because they take them for granted year after year.
Here is what I discovered in 3 months.
Tens of Millions of our Citizens who walked away from our Democracy because leadership and Governance failures bruised their hearts are awakened. These Tens of Millions of Citizens may not speak up but they will do so with their Votes.

In Problem Solving, the worst thing to do, is eliminate the possibility of a New Way.
Majority of our Citizens have need of that New Way of solving the Leadership and Governance failures that have cost them so much.
As a 3-month old Politician, I know that. That’s a START.

So here’s some of what you need to know about our Campaign flag-off today:
A group of professional women organized themselves &printed thousands of the Posters we shall release across the country.
Some grassroots women are organizing themselves as Canvassers for the Campaign.

Our Volunteer Teams across all States of the country are vibrant young men and women who reflect the best thinkers of a New Way that a Problem Solver can attract.
I marvel daily at how because of them, we have literally “walked on water” to achieve so much in 3 months.

Today, as we flag -off our Campaign in the midst of the People in Karu/Nyanya the content of our activity is a New Way.
How?
At the Campaign venue today, we shall constitute a Panel of Citizens that will be made up of a Child, a Youth, a Woman and a Man. They will set the tone.

Today’s Panel of Citizens session at our Campaign flag-off in Karu/Nyanya happens before we present our #ProjectRescueNigeria Manifesto in very simple messages to them.
It is a New Way that places Citizens at the center of our Politics.
It is the way we shall Disrupt the Old.

In Karu/Nyanya, @acpnhope will take our message of #Fight4Niaja into the midst of citizens persuading them to collectively take center-stage in our Politics and to actively use their voting power to effect what will be a historical change in political leadership of Nigeria.
We @acpnhope shall in Karu/Nyanya successfully persuade our Citizens to only vote for candidates with the requisite character, Competence & Capacity necessary to provide Good Governance at all levels of elective offices. It is the New Way we can see out of our leadership failure.
The flag- off Campaign will conclude with a #WalkforNaija which will be a Street walk by citizens patterned after my trademark #WalkOfWomen. Simultaneously across the 8 states, Volunteers will walk communities campaigning for votes for us asking citizens to thumb 👇👇👇
