Brexit was supposed to cut red tape. I can't even begin to imagine how much of an extra burden the bullet points in this letter represent to busy adult social care providers just trying to provide the best standard of care they can... (full letter at link)

Note too the weasel language: "encourage", "may wish".

That's so that if there's a problem, blame can be shifted away from Government ("But we TOLD you") yet if no deal Brexit doesn't happen, social care providers can't complain about all the extra work ("We only encouraged")
Let's just unpick the first bullet point a bit more... so the Government is expecting adult social care providers to contact staff (ok), customers (hmm), users (?), third party suppliers and delivery partners - and check with ALL of them if they're Brexit ready?!
