Weird. Dover's projected to be a huge loser in the case of a no deal Brexit.
A) Traffic through the port will be gunged up across most of Kent
B) Other ports will be used as contingency, taking business away from it

I can only assume that the locals have no idea about the Brexit steamroller that's about to pound the economy of their town into the ground. They may have voted to leave, but @CharlieElphicke really ought to do his job of representing their *interests* properly, and protect them.
It's a pity, because Dover's a nice place. And there are some gorgeous views from the Castle. The town's suffered numerous economic setbacks before, but this has the potential to be the worst - worse even than when the Channel Tunnel pinched a ton of business away.
