1) The one big takeaway from #BrexitUncivilWar is leavers don't get to say anymore "we all just voted to leave"

It's out there, the cherry picking of swing/none voters, 1 billion targeted messages blaming each individual's issues on the EU

"£350 M and Turkey" driven home

2) Maybe you, your friends, next doors dog all knew well in advance exactly why you voted Leave
It doesn't matter because Vote Leave didn't go after you, it went after the middle 3rd of undecided and told them anything it needed to tell them to convince them the EU was wrong

3) there's no point saying "are you calling leave voters stupid?" because marketing works, especially when you don't know you're being marketed to.

And no one had ever marketed as shamelessly like Vote Leave before, it wasn't even possible 10 years ago

4) Vote Leave created a database of undecided voters from Social Media, and cynically fed 1 billion personalised messages, one set for you, a different one for the person next to you, based on each individual's concerns & fears
And it said literally anything to get the vote

5) it wasn't democracy, it was literally "what do I need to blame on the EU to get this person's vote?"

And for those it couldn't get to, the lie of the £350M and the threat of "Turkey is joining the EU", messages now buried and forgotten

6) you might have voted for the NHS, to stop bullfighting, to help your local school, to get cheaper Indian food or Tea, for bendy bananas, to save our fish, because its "our money"

Or because millions of Turks were coming

Whatever Vote Leave could pin on the EU

7) but it's out there now, the most cynical, shameless but above all surgically precise public manipulation the country has ever seen.

To get the win, just to prove it could be done, and with no consideration of the consequences or even the tiniest plan on what comes next

8) one final thought
Everyone in their gut already knew this. They already knew the result was a disgrace to democracy.

We're told "respect the result" but the dark truth is no one does, not really.

Everyone can see the reality now vs the promises made and knows its dirty

9) Leavers know its a corrupted result and a one off so they're scared of a 2nd ref. Remainers know it's an abomination of democracy and so cannot let it go.
MPs say "we respect it" because they have to say that, but they know its an affront.

This won't get any better

10) MPs need to wake up. This is only the first dramatisation. There will be others and if Brexit is implemented it'll be a rich vein of investigations & revelations

When everyone is blaming Brexit for everything people won't get less angry, they'll be furious

11) for every 1 dodgy #Brexit stunt highlighted in the program 5 more are waiting to get the same treatment - dark money, Russian Interference, Bank's £8m, BeLeave

It's all coming out. And the public will demand of our MPs "you knew this, why didn't you stop it?"
