If for example they choose "no deal" its not "no deal because the EU will panic and give us a great deal", it's just "no deal", as it stands, with its consequences spelt out

4) so in other words it's any #Brexit option the leavers want to put forward, but it must be an option, fully detailed & achievable and which does not rely on the EU27 behaving in a certain way or granting certain concessions.

5) and then that option is debated against Remain, with its pro & cons. If it's a softer Brexit the argument has to be made about sovereignty, if a harder one, the arguments around cost & impact on the UK

6) but here's the really key point: if brexiters cannot come up with an option that can win, be sufficiently appealing to the public and *yet still be based on reality* then they've failed to deliver, and Brexit cannot be executed

8) but, to be fair, they should be given the opportunity - they should be asked "give us your best shot, of all the #Brexit variations give us the best, actually feasible option which you can win with"
