Thread 1/7
I am really honoured and I want to tell my story as it relates to space journalism. It all started in 2012 with my obsession with bi-lobed comets and how I thought they came about. Especially in regards to comet 103P Hartley 2 pictured right.
My obsession shifted to the Flagship class mission #Rosetta going to #67P Churyumov-Gerasimenko. I was led to the Rosetta Blog,

blogs.esa.int/rosetta/
where many theories came up in the blog comment threads - Especially comments from @scute1133 regarding "stretch theory"
After perihelion, many changes on the comet were flagged by @scute1133 and I. The changes we found were particularly interesting, especially the one on the Anuket-Sobek border. These changes are as yet poorly understood by cometary scientists.
Andrew Cooper (@scute1133) and I (@marcoparigi1) also found mapping errors on papers that had passed peer review. We emailed the lead author and a corrigendum was published acknowledging our contributions in finding the errors.
At about this time @elakdawalla was taking a break from Planetary Society Blogposts and invited guest bloggers. I worked with @jasonrdavis to author a guest blog post about finding the change and border error at the Anuket/Sobek boundary.

Being a fan of the Weekly Space Hangout and their @wshcrew, I surprised myself by asking if I could be a guest on their show. Nancy Graziano said yes, and I feel honoured and privileged to be part of such a fantastic medium for space journalism.
☄✨💫🌟Thanks!
