So you'll cling to anything, even a bus covered in lies.

When the tabloids scream, it's all about sovereignty,
They don't tell you you can't put that on the table for tea.

You know that we've stooped as low as can be.
When the hostile environment extends from Land's End to John o'Groats
And they pay millions for a fleet of non-existent boats.

Then you know our country is truly cursed.
When they are stockpiling life-saving meds,
And warning our NHS is losing even more beds.

You will accept anything, you've got nothing left to defend.
How have we got to this place? Do we have to follow through for fear of them losing face?

Now is our darkest hour, we must stand firm & employ people power.
The will of the people is strong & not some pawn in their political game.
Make them take some responsibility, shoulder the blame.

When we stand united in defiance, they will take note
And we'll re-establish our democracy with a #PeoplesVote
