Greetings from the Eastern Shore, MD, where I just got buy in to clear out the garage so my sick and frail parents can get in and out of the car indoors

Helping elderly parents get their house in better shape for what life is throwing at them is to vacillate between them being super grateful and enraged and suspicious. My stepmom now insisting on sorting the coins herself.
Got them sorting coins (🙅♀️) and watching football while I am back at garage. Which omg
Scared to open
Dropped a filing cabinet on my knee and then foot, trying to keep it from hitting the kayak my dad made, and we will hopefully donate to Maritime Museum. Two hours later, I am preeeeetty sure that nothing is broken? 😬

When I was a kid my dad started another boat, got 80% done, and then it sat in our utility room for a decade. And then I used it as a metaphor for undone business in a @wcp column and he finished it. Wonder if @jackshafer or @nutco can find. I was just in archives to no avail.
He named it "Eon." That one will probably go now too 😥. (but not in garage so not my immediate crisis)
