I don’t know why when there is an attack in Kenya media rush to the scene before the police like Dusit 😔. You not only risk your lives but also contaminate all evidence!! STAY AWAY and KEEP A DISTANCE if you must go!! And only report things that’s don’t impact investigation!
We don’t want 411 details. We just want to know if ppl have been rescued, how many, where to get in touch with to find our loved ones, how we can help, and whether the attacker’s have been caught or not. We don’t want 100% details on what ppl are wearing and doing!

Before independence Kenyans sought refuge in Somalia which was a stable State. All refugees were given a monthly stipend my father has taught me that history, because he was one of those refugees
Kenya has a mutually beneficial relationship with Somalia, we will forever be neighbours. So we both stand to loose form any escalation. The only person who benefits is warlords, Alshabab and scrupulous dealmakers. Think about that before you spew hate #SomaliaVsKenya

There were many heroes at Riverside all are worthy of praise, but Omar Muchiris interview really resonated with me. The way he recounts it with calmness but then you compare the look on his face after the attack, the trauma in his eyes after he faced death!! Very sad...
My highlight of the interview is when Omar said he lost his gun at Riverside and attackers were shooting. He thought it was the end of him so he decided to pray. He quotes the Quran saying that everyone must die in the end to say he had no fear to face the terrorists...

So #Facebook & #Instagram (second time in 3 weeks) deleted my accounts. For sharing information about #Kashmir. No explanations or replies to my questions are given. Of course this is not about Facebook, nor about me, but the much more dangerous path SM is taking.
It is all about Justice & about what is happening to many people living under oppression & facing severe surveillance & suppression on the ground and even online.
It is about principals & rights. Human rights. Enshrined in statues & bragged about. Said to be universal. Said to be
I don't know ONE Kashmiri who hasn't been subjected to some form of censorship. On the ground there are far worse consequences than removed posts. Journalists (and MANY civilians) have been trashed, arrested & targeted when covering human rights violations by India.

So I went to a Diabetes Conference to get insight into the medical field, to see where the mindset of medication prescribing originates. I sat through 4 hours of panels

The event was free but the trade off was that the conference was backfunded by YOU GUESSED IT:
BIG PHARMA
The lobby was filled with drug reps pushing the latest greatest medications.
I grabbed a couple cards just for kicks.
3) The first 2 hrs of panels discussed managing diabetes with medications but I noticed a theme:

Doctors are fucking terrified of Hypoglycemia.

A reason doctors don't like LCHF diets is because they're concerned with hypoglyco. A LCHF diet is in their view, a death sentence
