..govt allows ILLEGAL migrants belonging to certain RELIGIONS,namely: Hindus,Sikhs,Buddhists,Jains,Parsis & Christians to get Citizenship of India while Muslims,Jews & Atheists will still be considered as illegal migrants & prohibited from gaining Citizenship of India.
The problem with this bill is very obvious.The BJP led govt. known for its Right Wing Hindutva ideology is introducing a bill that segregates between people on the basis of religion,which violates the very salient feature of our constitution - Secularism.
India is a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC. The constitution clearly states Equality of Opportunity to All.

Jews being kept out comes as a surprise keeping in mind India's great relationship with Israel under Modi,who became the first Indian PM to visit Israel.Keeping out Atheists is worrisome considering Pakistan & Afghanistan not treating their own minorities including atheists,well.
