Today we're putting out our @runforsomething 2019-2020 strategic plan -- a very long (but hopefully interesting!) look at what we've done over the past two years, what we've learned, and where we're going. I want to call out a few things... medium.com/@runforsomethi…
First: This is a very scary document to put out into the world! But I believe that our supporters -- from those who simply retweet us a lot to those who invest the big bucks -- should know what we're up to. Transparency is extremely important to me.
We're trying something big and unprecedented. No one has ever attempted to build a national permanent candidate recruitment & support infrastructure on the left. But we believe that's what's needed to make government both more representative & more progressive.

I'm particularly excited about the recruitment program @RossMoRock is leading, built around three prongs: relational organizing, on-the-ground partnerships, and storytelling. medium.com/p/a272e5633849…
Some other news in this doc: We're excited to add three people to our board of directors. So grateful that @emmyruiz, @teddygoff, and @apucks agreed to provide us their strategic support.
In 2019-2020, we're going to transition from ~grassroots resistance group~ into a permanent & critical part of the progressive eco-system -- and we can only do it with your help. Read the plan and if you're inspired, chip in. runforsomething.net/donate
