Meanwhile, @AOC still sitting on the fence about US imperialism in #Venezuela. Politics can be hard, little girl, but to lead you need to take a stand. Like this woman:
Day 2 of @AOC watch on #Venezuela. IMO, the real litmus test for any US politician is whether they are willing to take a principled stand on foreign policy & int'l law. A principled position de facto requires taking on the political establishment; AOC seems unwilling to do this.
Face it, community volunteer Barack Obama looked great on paper, but was just a fresh face for US imperialism, exceptionalism and war. Why is @AOC, outspoken 'Hispanic' champion of the downtrodden, any different from Obama right now - as the US crushes #Venezuela to bits?

Was in #EastGhouta today, 25 meters from a battlefront btwn Shifouniyeh & Misraba, areas recently liberated from militants. Western journalists flock to humanitarian corridor in north, but not a single one visited this makeshift chemical lab discovered by the SAA yesterday.
With the US threatening direct attacks on #Syria because of alleged chemical weapons use, and the Russians & Syrians claiming militants are using CWs to provoke a US attack...you would think western journalists would be all over this terrorist-run lab - even if to debunk it.
I couldn't even hazard a guess at what was cooking in this terrorist-run lab in #EastGhouta. This stuff needs to be tested by independent experts, but the int'l community isn't interested. You'd think they'd want a look before Trump starts a war over fake WMDs.

So why would you believe what they're saying about Venezuela?
Venezuela is in crisis. But like the run-up to Vietnam, Iraq, Libya and so many other bloody US foreign policy disasters, we're being bombarded with a one-sided, simplistic, often false narrative. No one claims Venezuela is a threat to us... but they do have LOTS of oil.
Chickenhawks like John Bolton are saying the quiet part out loud on why the ruling class should support the Venezuela coup: “It will make a big difference to the US economically if we could have American oil companies really invest in & produce the oil capabilities in Venezuela."

Minorities in India need to organise and take a stand in legal manner, vote strategically. Cannot afford to withdraw in shell, get used to abuse, scapegoating, fake cases. Must unite and organise to take action for own dignity, justice and existence.
Indian minorities are internalising self hate, self blame or hoping 'this too shall pass' or learning to live with it or ignore it. They also vote poorly. They fail to take action. That's why the abuse by politicians and media continues. Why not take legal action and expose them?
You cannot afford to have a 'humko kya?' or 'mainu ki?', 'leave it, let it be' or 'so what?' attitude or ignore abuse and targeting thinking it happened to someone else not to you so it is no big deal. You need to take a stand for your dignified existence
