.@drawandstrike @themarketswork I think we do know why the FBI pretended to sever ties with Steele. @carterwpage A week after the FISA was granted, Dr. Page sent a letter to the Head of OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission (EOM) about election rigging.
@drawandstrike @themarketswork @carterwpage In that letter, he outlined that a UK based private investigator paid for by the Clinton Campaign, was creating false allegations, spreading them to the press & trying to trigger an investigation. The FBI read that letter with their FISA on Dr. Page.
@drawandstrike @themarketswork @carterwpage Which means the FBI knew, that Dr. Page was aware of the plot. That Steele's leaks to the press were getting directly to him, but that he did not know Steele's name yet. So the FBI had to pretend to hide that relationship because the plot to frame him & Trump was exposed.
@drawandstrike @themarketswork @carterwpage There is no way the FBI could openly pay Steele for his work after Page documented these issues! The things it took us 2 years to figure out, @carterwpage knew on 10/28/16! Now I wonder who his reliable source was for that information?
