The $150K Roger Stone mentioned in his Oct 4, 2016 email to Steve Bannon ["Tell Rebecca <Mercer> to send us $$$"] matches the $150K in an email of now-deceased GOP operative Peter Smith to fund "Russian scholarship students" [aka Clinton Email Reconnaissance Initiative].

Beyond his connection with Flynn, now-deceased Peter Smith also had ties to WikiLeaks and solicited money for Assange's legal fees, per Charles Ortel and an email Smith sent in Dec 2016 about the “Clinton Email Reconnaissance Initiative.”

Peter Smith’s effort ran parallel to hacking and leaking efforts of Russia's GRU. Both involve obtaining emails, but Smith was focused on the 33,000 emails deleted from Clinton’s server – just like Trump, who begged for Russia's help re the same.
