So, I negotiated an agreement with a 3rd party.
It was long and complicated, as the other party wouldn't let go with a clause I didn't like.
Finally, I accepted because it was the only way to get an agreement.
But once back home, I realised I really didn't like that clause...
So what I did is I rewrote the contract without the clause I didn't like.
And you know what happened next?
The other party told me it wasn't OK with the agreement anymore!
Can you believe it?
Where will the world go if you can't unilaterally rewrite agreements to your liking?
Of course, it tried to blame me, saying the problem was that I couldn't agree on something and then, once an agreement had been reached, change what was agreed on against its will.
As if it was my fault!
VILLAIN!
What did it think, that it actually had a say in our 2-party negs?
