We have health insurance and Jewell's birth still cost $7,500. Insurance covered $10,000. wHy DoN't MiLleNnIaLs HaVe MoRe BaBiEs
Meanwhile Plan B is $50 and an abortion is $500.
And total cost of having a child from 0-18 is $200,000.

What we are witnessing today goes far beyond Republican and Democrat. It is nothing less than a total war between the Christian and liberal understanding of the human person.

You must pick a side.
What does it mean to be human? Are we embedded in community, family, inescapably dependent on others who in turn depend on us? Or are we independent atomized individuals? Does being dependent make us less human?
Are we beings of infinite worth adored by God, inherently deserving of a flourishing life? Or are we interchangeable economic units on a spreadsheet, valuable only insofar as we produce wealth?

Just got attacked by a gang of Freemasons downtown. I know this because they wore hats that said “Freemason” and while they punched me they shouted “Only a rational universal religion can defeat our mortal enemy the Knights of Columbus!” @SenKamalaHarris you must condemn this.
Police have now reviewed thousands of hours of surveillance footage and found one image that shows the Freemason leader. Kamala please.
Experts have enhanced the image and now believe this to be the main culprit, known only as “Number One.” He is still at large. Thank you to the law enforcement community for keeping us safe.

Calling out hypocrisy is a waste of time. It convinces no one, makes you look like a scold, and the people who do it always fail to resolve the hypocrisy by articulating a consistent principle. Just say what you believe.
I’ve seen tons of these tweets in the past 24 hours: “my opponent is against separating families but supports abortion” and “my opponent is against abortion but supports separating families.” But then neither side comes out and states their philosophy on abortion and immigration.
Not to mention the “hypocrisy” is mostly made up. Majority of Catholics I know are not only anti-abortion, they adopt babies, give money to women’s shelters, support welfare, and oppose capital punishment and family separation at the border. Never praised for being “consistent.”

In the midst of the tests and various medical consultations, it occurred to me that my life had stopped. My symptoms limited my movements and where I could go. So, I couldn't plan and I couldn't project forward.
Things like traveling or dating went out of the window. I was stuck on finding a solution to my health challenge. My tests are still ongoing. I'm still seeing doctors, but we think we now know what's wrong. And so, I am hopeful.

What if, when a woman died during an unsafe #abortion, the man who got her pregnant died too?
2/8 No warning, just suddenly died? Had sex, got a woman pregnant, she died because of a coathanger abortion, and dropped dead immediately?
3/8 I bet we would have a lot more men screaming in the streets to keep abortion safe, legal, and accessible.

Last night I promised a thread about #abortion before Roe v Wade legalized it nationally. Until the mid-1800s, common law allowed abortion until "quickening", when fetal movement can be felt. Toxic abortion remedies & doctors competing w midwives led to… 1/
laws outlawing abortion except where pregnancy was likely to be fatal spreading across the country. Bottled abortion remedies could be and were fatal, and doctors, almost all white and male, didn't want midwives competing with them for pregnancy care. 2/

We really need to talk more about #abortion as an option for women.
It's hard to say this and hard to hear it for many, but just because you discover you are pregnant doesn't mean you must carry that pregnancy to term. Your decision will last the rest of your life--and the rest of the life of any child you decide to carry to term.

And no, I am not advocating #abortion.
I'm advocating thinking about parenthood & all it entails.
Because once you have a child, you can't just walk away from that life.
And women/girls are talked into maintaining pregnancies every day.
More discussion would change that.
