Rep. Kim Daniels asking about the legality of #CBD products being sold in stores. "People are buying it and being stopped by police." One person she knows of was told his possession was "felony level." #FlaPol

Coppola says the issue is the amount of THC that also may be in the product, sourced from out of state. She called CBD sales in the state a "gray area." Police should check the MMJ patient registry, she said. #FlaPol

CBD products, however, at least in Tallahassee, have been advertised and sold in many independent "corner" drugstores and at Lucky's market at least as of last year. #FlaPol
