This "Green New Deal" proves once and for all that Democrats deny the science of climate change. They don't see it as a problem that needs to be solved through political compromise, but an opportunity to exploit to promote their politics, like union jobs.

2/ Whether or not you believe "union jobs" is a good thing, you'll have to admit that nothing in the science demands they are necessary to fight man-made climate change. I've read a lot of scientific papers and consensus reports, and nowhere do they mention "union jobs".
3/ On the other hand, scientists do know what will mitigate manmade climate-change: stop burning fossil fuels. By far the most obvious thing you can do to cut down on burning fossil fuels is a carbon tax, which AOC rejects in her Green New Deal.
4/ That's "science denial": when you reject any science that goes against your ideology while embracing any science that appears to agree with your ideology.
