"As he was working to build a relationship with Papadopoulos in 2016, Millian also offered to serve as a conduit to the Trump campaign for a Belarusan author in Florida with connections to the Russian government, according to emails obtained by The Washington Post."

During the same time Fancy Bear was actively hacking the DNC and GOP, Trump Hotels' payment system was hacked not once, but twice, by unidentified hackers, stealing credit card data. Trump Hotels tried to cover it up.
This is of particular concern because of how much government business is being conducted at Mar-a-Lago that seems to also include club members

The get-together followed *months of outreach* Millian had made to Papadopoulos — including offering him a lucrative consulting contract to work simultaneously for Trump and an unidentified Russian, which Papadopoulos said he rebuffed.
