Here's Jacob Rees-Mogg on Theresa May's failure to explicitly rule out Customs Union in her letter to Jeremy Corbyn:

'As the 2017 Conservative manifesto promised to leave the Customs Union it would be more consistent for the Prime Minister simply to rule one out.'
In the letter, PM insists her deal 'provides for benefits of customs union' while enabling independent trade policy

She says CU membership would require us to be in Single Market & accept free movement - a breach of Labour's manifesto
