I have an update: After fixing some errors, giving far more credit to impact of sending economy to the dark ages, and accounting for the 11% of emissions offset by forests/lands, we would only need to get rid of ~110 Million Americans by 2030 to get near net-0 emissions.*
*This still does not account for emissions from any of the new projects contained in the Green New Deal. Including retrofitting every building in America and building an extensive high speed rail system.
Also, please keep in mind that doing all of that still won't have any significant impact on climate change, and some of the people proposing all this haven't been willing to make any significant personal sacrifices to deal with this urgent threat that requires all of this.
