No deal means Theresa May's resignation.
Because it's all just gob. Parliamentary gob, media gob. Nobody is going to leave the European Union like that. Only the people who will never be prime minister say that
The only people who still think they want to leave Europe are the people with no foresight. If you did that you would plunge into a crisis that you couldn't solve.
And it's not just money. The Irish border does actually need dealing with.
And you've just left the European Union, which means you've just produced a border somewhere, and all you can do now is choose where to put it.
Ireland or the Irish Sea, and in either case the government collapses.
If you partitioned Ireland again, Europe and Ireland and America, and the huge part of parliament would be furious, and the government would collapse in five seconds.
But if you partition the United Kingdom, as Theresa May's withdrawal agreement sets out, then she loses by 200 votes.

Border in Ireland, she won't get a withdrawal agreement through Europe, and border in the Irish Sea, she won't get it through parliament.
The only answer is not to put a border there at all.
And she has spent three years - three years! - coming up with garbage about "grand bargains" and god knows, trying to solve a problem by mere word noise.
It's not about creating the right word noises. It's about where you want to put the practical machinery of an international border.
They keep trying to leave the European Union without creating a border in doing so. But you can't because that's what a border is. Two separate legal entities, and a border between them.
If you can't partition Ireland and you can't partition the United Kingdom, you have to stay in the same legal jurisdiction with Ireland.
Border in Ireland - EU and Ireland say no.

Border in the Irish Sea - DUP says no

No border at all - Brexiteers say no
All this faff about citizens' juries and referendums. That's just timewasting.

You could just sit there waiting to get kicked out, and I'll tell you exactly what happens then. After about three days you ask if you can revoke your notice anyway
You either create a catastrophe and then ask to revoke your notice by special allowance, or with the application of foresight you avoid a catastrophe by revoking your notice in advance.
This country can't afford or cope with the chaos and expense of leaving the European Union, and the only thing stopping us asking for our notice back is the vanity and pride of elderly racists.
But Theresa May still has to resign first. That's the only way to unblock this national constipation
