Medicare For All being paid for like Medicare has been paid for since 1965 seems like a not unreasonable position, but evidently this makes Gillibrand the worst neoliberal in the history of neoliberals.
Not to mention that said tax would REPLACE THE MEDICAL PLAN DEDUCTIONS IN YOUR CURRENT PAYCHECK THAT ARE WELL OVER 4% FOR MOST PEOPLE! But then who is more neoliberal than me?
These replies remind me of how much easier sloganeering is than policy. Everyone loves free college tuition me too. But what about, as is presently being proposed in Rhode Island, free tuition is burdened with terrible measures turning higher ed into a jobs training program?
This is horrific policy that moves toward making it impossible for kids to major in English and history in the guise of a progressive move. Policy details are really important! Take them seriously!
