This is a demonstration of how rich-country technology (in this case, cheap solar power) can help poor countries get rich without burning nearly as much carbon.

Technology is a super-high-impact climate policy.
We're in the process of doing the same with batteries, electric cars, and energy storage. We can and should do this faster than we're doing.

We also need to do this with cement manufacturing, steel manufacturing, and meat substitutes.
Any climate policy or Green New Deal we do must have a BIG technology component.
