Who did the Kremlin support before they (allegedly) supported Donald Trump or was that a one time, never to be repeated, exclusive unicorn collusion?
The history of Soviet intelligence suggests they spend years or decades building up a ladder of contacts, carefully cultivating sympathizers and seeding agents. Whether or not it bears fruit the tree is huge.
This enormous creeping weed is likely to be in action again, if it was not in action before. But just as we did not hear of it then, we may not hear much of it again, which is itself a curious thing.
