I think this is a good list. It’s pretty close to what I have been arguing for a while.

However, I (now) think there is no prospect of the key piece of the puzzle falling into place: Corbyn himself.

Without his(and McD’s) full buy in it’s simple not going to work.

I have been coming at this from many different angles for the past year or so:

And I have met and corresponded and worked with many people on all sides of the issue

But - nothing, and I mean nothing, has made me believe that Corbyn has the emotional intelligence or political bravery to make this work and rebuild trust with the Jewish community.
If you discount the articles and press releases which I believe have mostly been written for him, and only listen to what he says in interviews, you get, I think, the true picture.

He hasn’t moved an inch

He still doesn’t really get it

He still thinks that if he criticises any of his fellow travellers, it’s a betrayal

And it kind of is. But there are hard choices to be made to grapple with this issue

I don’t think he is close to even considering making them. Actions speak loud here. What actions has he taken?
Compare @PeoplesMomentum - they have taken risks. Educated themselves and tried to educate their supporters. They doing what needs to be done. But they can’t be the tail wagging the dog. It has to come from the centre.
And the people in his movement know it - that he effectively has to be worked around. That he is so politically rigid that he won’t pick up the phone to Luciana Berger, or express public sympathy. And that’s why the disciplinary and education stuff, whilst important, is secondary
I spoke at a great event tonight with @mrwtch @MikeSegalov @adamlangleben @ellarachelrose - was great but also grim. There is a long way back from this but under the current leadership, it’s hard to see how Labour can take the first steps, let alone the long road.
