Product/Market Fit - #DeFi v1.0 Really seems like v1 use-cases are taking shape beyond novelty value.

1/ Maxing out the techs potential takes time. Time allows for education/understanding, infrastructure, which results in discovery of new applications.

2/ The internet was a digital newspaper at the start. It's going to become more apparent that #DeFi is the digital 🗞️. Porting of what we know into the new technology. Innovation 10%, optimization 90%. Faster, cheaper, more accessible etc... Those %'s will swap sides in time.

3/ Newspaper. Quick reference to ease information consumption for varying types of audiences. Seemed a good base is porting that same framework to the "new internet technology"... News, Sports, Finance, Jobs, Horoscopes, Technology, etc... #redditSilverLevelDesignSkills

4/ The banks products. Credit Card, Savings, Loans, Checking Account, Investments, etc... #DeFi hitting its stride similarly in comparison. Instead it's many hands making light work. Many products, one UX. Comparing a single institution vs focused solutions brought under one UX.

5/ The early signs of the "Death by a thousand paper cuts" is starting to get a little more significant with every increase in value that is transacted through these blockchain based solutions. #DeFi is a v1.0 of product/market fit for blockchain critics in developed markets.

6/ Interesting thing is that MakerDAO started so long ago, they had the luxury to build out the financial swiss army knife. Enough time, baron landscape of competition, etc... Now teams need to specialize and align to produce alternatives.

7/ Feel like it's a relatively fair comparison? No? Got a few funny looks when I said banks are less-likely to get displaced in one hit. The long-grind is brutal, because it's not worth worrying...

8/ Until it's too late to fix. Shareholders want quarterly results, not future proofing... Beginning of the end. Going to accelerate ridiculously after the next halving.
