If you’re a conservative living in a leftist, urban environment, you’re either energized by the daily fight—or utterly broken by it.
Seems like most are broken, and they live to prove “I’m not one of those people” to their neighbors and friends.

The sad thing is, as I’ve learned, these friends and neighbors aren’t worth the trouble.
If they’d abandon you over a political disagreement, you’re better off walking away than living in fear—or worse, becoming a bad, unreliable ally to those you claim to support.
