After spending two weeks in Venezuela I have no doubt the people & government here will survive US-led efforts to destroy the Bolivarian revolution. Most importantly, despite their claims, the international community is not on the side of Washington, Rubio & Guaidó.
It’s time for those in the US to realize the war on Venezuela— something even Sanders has endorsed at this juncture— is being waged not only due to the empire’s interest in controlling VZ’s resources, but also to sabotage socialism’s success on the American continent.
What was born in Venezuela cannot be defeated. US citizens have much to learn from the history, experience, and people here. As one friend in Caracas told me: “It’s your turn to acknowledge that you’re also global south.”

While Trump’s puppet Guaidó courts Israel, Venezuelan VP @DrodriguezVen addresses a crowd in Caracas in kuffiya, underscoring her country’s solidarity with Palestine and its central role in the fight against empire & colonialism. This is not a government that’s been deafeated.
