Meanwhile, the DC Circuit has finally ruled in Andrew Miller's challenge to Mueller's subpoena authority. Mueller wins.
The 3-judge panel opinion was unanimous, holding that the special counsel is an inferior officer, meaning does not need to be nominated by POTUS and confirmed by the Senate, and DAG Rosenstein was acting AG on the matter for which Sessions had recused, so could appoint Mueller. 
Not sure why it took this long, but, OK.
