I look around today & see the attacks on Labour, see the attacks on members by TW, see the incompetence of the PM's deal on Brexit, & the determination of MPs to prevent anything better, I look at the turncoat #EffluentEleven & their determination to keep the Tories in power...
I look at the continued AS attacks (despite all Labour has done) & compare it to the racism, Islamophobia, misogyny, and many other misdemeanours that go unpunished, and almost celebrated, in other parties, I look at the people dying on the streets of Britain, I look at all...
the people being pushed into homelessness and poverty, I look at all the old people & the disabled becoming more & more isolated because of government cuts to local authorities resulting in cuts to social services, I look at all the people on zero hours contracts that are...
'In Work' & 'Employed' because they may get one hour a week employment (not to mention the unpaid carers who are also not 'Unemployed', I look at the people going to food banks (a growth industry in this country) & the increased numbers going because of Universal Credit...
(see also previous comments on homelessness, poverty, etc), I look at manufacturing industry collapsing or leaving (despite what the Maybot says), I look at Chris Grayling and the catastrophe he has made of the Justice System, transport, & every fucking thing he touches...
I look at education, the reduced budgets, the siphoning off of money to the academies (from whence we have no control or idea of where it goes), I look at the destruction of the Sure Start system, the dilapidation of school buildings, I look at the mountains of debt that...
students are leaving further education with (I know Labour started this, & it was wrong, but nick Clegg - really?), then I look at the people waiting for cancer diagnosis, the people waiting more than four hours in A&E, the people waiting all day for an ambulance, and when...
they get to hospital they can't get in because A&E is blocked because there aren't any beds to admit patients, & if there were the beds there aren't the nurses (remember the Nurses bursary) or the doctors, & if you do get through the doors & don't look as if your family has...
been here since the Middle Ages then you'll probably have to produce your passport (& even that might not be enough) if you want treatment, even if you are dying, & while we're at it I look at the Windrush Generation that came to the UK to help us rebuild, but now are...
subject to Teresa May's 'Hostile Environment' & made homeless, refused NHS treatment, or deported for the least little excuse, & I look at the rise in violent crime (which of course is nothing to do with the massive cuts to policing) & I look at our Armed Forces veterans...
& their mental health issues, homelessness, addiction problems (whatever happened to the Armed Forces Covenant, Mr Cameron?), & I look at our Foreign Secretaries going our around the world, pissing people off, & making us look even more stupid than we can achieve for ourselves...
& I look at the countries that we are so desperate to do business with that we are very happy to overlook their little transgressions (like indiscriminate bombing of civilians, or cutting journalists up with bone saws), & I look at the way we (& other countries) are...
determined to interfere with the internal affairs of countries because of our determination to inflict our ideology, or because we want to get our hands on their ideology...
and then I think that there are politicians in this country that want to actually make things better for everyone in this country (some in every party, although more in one party than the others) and then I look at the way they are treated...
in Parliament they are derided, shouted down, and abused, in the broadcast media they are ignored, they are interrupted, they are mocked, they are taken to task over every issue, minor or substantive, and when they have spoken every method in the...
'reporter's & editors' book of tricks is brought to play to belittle their message, and in the print media there is what can only be described as a dung heap of mis-reporting, lies, smears, and then I look at the Ministers and every other politician that is abusing the system...
and milking it for either their own pockets, or that of their mates and I look at the fawning and arse licking by all sections of the MSM, and I look at the lies they are telling, the data that they are hiding, the NDAs that they are forcing companies and charities to sign...
and I look at how they are being allowed to get away unchallenged with wrecking the lives of so many people, and in some cases (Mr Cameron & Mr Blair) walking away from the disasters they have caused and then milking the corporate gravy train...
and I look at how the British people have been trained to accept all this, and how they have been strained to ridicule anyone that says "It doesn't have to be like this, we can make it better", and trained to look down and despise anyone worse off, or even different to...
themselves, and I think "This is not the Country that Britain should be, this is not the Status Quo that I want to accept, despite all the slings and arrows aimed at us, whether by the establishment, by the Tory Government, by the rich MSM moguls, by foreign Governments...
who are determined that a UK party with certain values will never be elected, whether by Labour politicians who want 'their' form of 'socialism', whether by ex-Labour politicians that just want to damage the Labour party that got them elected in the first place"...
Britain is now a country with millions of people suffering from the policies of this pernicious, abusive, and corrupt Government - we need to do everything we can to stop them, to remove them, and to reverse the damage they have done...
When I started this I was almost in tears, I was in despair at the way that Labour has been abused from within and without, for the way that good, committed politicians are attacked with everything that can be thrown at them, especially if they say anything (however foolishly)...
that can be wilfully twisted and misinterpreted (@DerbyChrisW or @jeremycorbyn), as I say, I was almost in tears...
