The largest human problem, and by that i mean humanity itself, not what humanity has inflicted on the earth.

Is the complete unwillingness to focus on all of the things that make us similar. Those things common to all humanity are far more numerous than our differences.

@RealArtisans @parislees Which while are important, need to be recognised, identified and respected. Are all minor grains on the vast surface of commonality we all have as people.

@RealArtisans @parislees Color, race, culture, religion, intolerance, rigid thinking, are all learned, and in many ways imposed by the various cultures we live in.

@RealArtisans @parislees Rewarding stupidity in some cases is part of this, propaganda, advertising, are all laden with psychological markers in order to influence people in whatever direction, however subtle.

@RealArtisans @parislees Finally, lets face it, a lot of people have very little knowledge that they didn't learn from the TV. Im not saying that the TV isn't a valuable tool, and that you can't learn lots. I am just not sure everything on the TV can be taken as gospel.

@RealArtisans @parislees The fact that we have all of these, 'minuscule' differences (compared to how we are similar) feeds into the entire toxic chaos that creates this kind of ignorance.

@RealArtisans @parislees No one has any idea what to think, and often will follow the first idea that makes some sense to them. And some arguments can be convincing, especially if they are laden with the idea of fear.

@RealArtisans @parislees Fear of something has always been a way to influence large groups of people, and the current anti-trans movement, is doing exactly that.

It is only by virtue that they don't have major funding or organisational backing that the problem isn't a lot worse than it already is.
