Any state allows for a Trumpcare plan— plans which Trump approved that allow insurers to charge as much as they want and cover what they want and who they want.
Your state prohibits them. But because they can be sold “across state lines”, it doesn’t matter. 2/

As soon as that happens, plans that cover pre-existing conditions have to charge more as some healthier people choose the non-compliant plans.
Many of those healthier people, of course, don’t remain healthy forever and aren’t covered for what they think they are. 3/

Wait? Isn’t this what ACA repeal tried and failed to do? Doesn’t this infringe on federalism and states’ rights? How can across state lines have good in-state networks of docs and hospitals? Where’s the accountability to pay claims? Won’t this lead to illness & bankruptcy? 4/
