Hello world! Professional news: I’m wrapping up my assignments at Ready State at the end of March, and creating my next adventure. 1/
What I do best is stand up new editorial & content operations, and diagnose/fix problems for underperforming content sites/teams. 2/
I’ve done this for audiences from CIOs and IT to security to healthcare. I’ve been fortunate to work with smart people in winning a ton of editorial quality awards in journalism, and for the past four years I’ve been with a sharp and creative digital marketing agency. 3/
I’ve also gotten SEO and inbound marketing certs. Sometimes this is described with the inelegant term “T-shaped marketer” :) but I think of it as being interested in a lot of things and how they fit together to get results. 4/
If you need help in these areas, or know someone who might, I’d love to hear about it. I’m open to in-house leadership positions but also part-time or contract consulting opportunities — have a couple of those irons in the fire already. 5/
Yes I do write and edit, but there are too many other things that interest me at hand, so my freelance writing time will be limited. 6/
Lastly I will be posting some thoughts at contentinformatics.com and in a newsletter, digging into various details about content performance, audience development, and so on. Drop by any time. Stay in touch. Thanks for being awesome b/c you all really are. 7/end
