[Thread] As long as people cannot talk about our problems, there will be more retribution. If you dismiss Brenton, there'll be another one eventually. It's worse than tragic.

Brenton Tarrant was not a psychopath. He was not born without empathy. There will be more like him, as long as this continues. Why? Because he was traumatised, rocked to his core by what he saw.

When he saw Ebba Akerlund, the partially deaf girl dismembered in the street by a Muslim terrorist attacker's truck, he couldn't ignore it. When he saw Rotherham, he couldn't ignore it.

But worse, he couldn't talk about it. As long as anyone who says "I'm worried that my society is changing in ways that I have no say in" is silenced and called an 'islamophobe' or a bigot, we will have more retribution when they decide that there is only one option left to them.

@jordanbpeterson has said that 'hate speech' NEEDS to be expressed, because otherwise it goes underground and festers. That's what happened to Brenton Tarrant. This ate away at him. He said to himself "WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE DO SOMETHING?" again and again.

As long as you vilify them for perceiving those terrible things that you ignore, they WILL keep rising up.
Remember, why have we got all those Muslim Terrorist attackers? Because America won't leave the middle east alone. They see the American planes and bombs, and they respond.

That's what happened to Brenton Tarrant. The attacks ate away at him, so did the statistics. He said to himself "WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE DO SOMETHING?" again and again. Eventually, he decided he had to do something. Brenton's attack wasn't because he hated Muslims.

It's because he hates invaders. And he couldn't talk about it. If you shut down speech, all that's left is violence. The question Brenton poses is "Is there a political solution?" He says "No, there is no political solution". Is he right, or wrong? We'll see.
