This is used as an excuse for why design-led orgs don’t work.
Yet, that’s the heart of issue. A truly design-led org would focus on the user’s experience. Bugs are part of that.
Leaders at true design-led orgs think about the holistic experience. Reliability, latency, and other architectural trouble spots are part of the experience, therefore part of the design.
Design can provide orgs a competitive advantage. This can’t happen in orgs who see design as a support role.
Being design led is inevitable for successful orgs.
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
