According to the Nigeria HIV/AIDS Prevalence indicator, Akwa Ibom ranks highest in HIV prevalence in Nigeria with 5.5%, followed by Benue with 5.3%.
In terms of HIV/AIDS prevalence by geo political zone, the SS has the highest at 3.1%, followed by the NC with 2.1%, while the NW has the lowest of 0.6%.
Prevalence by gender shows higher numbers with females than with males on all age groups. It was the highest among females age 35-39 years at 3.3%, and the highest among males age 50-54 years at 2.3%. Prevalence among adults age 15-64yrs was 1.9% among females & 1.1% among males.

I have spent 4+ decades on earth to discover that the biggest, most important and hardest job on earth is "Parenting". It is a job where you have to measure your success not by our much you get back but by how much you keep giving of what you know, what you have or what u desire.
The day I started appreciating my parents, was the day I became a parent. I realised how much they sacrificed for us. A sacrifice I had no idea of the value until I became like them. Likewise, my kids will likely not appreciate the value of my sacrifice until they become parents.
This is what makes parenting so intriguing. That you give and sacrifice self for kids who might jolly well not know the value until you've nothing else to give or even die. But you still do it. Why? Faith. You have faith that somewhere along the line all your efforts will pay off

#Nigeria’s GDP slowly picking up since the oil price crash of 2014-16 - up 1.9% in 2018 (0.8% the year before). And last quarter of 2018 was best in years at 2.4% - but not fast enough to deal with Unemployment
If we look at Nigeria's economy and compare it to other oil exporters - it's better than some (Eq Guinea in Africa, Venezuela in Latam), and worse than others. But none have done great since the oil price fall began in 2014
We think Nigeria will do better in the next four years - as we said in this thread - because oil prices won't repeat the fall of 2014-16 (nominally they can't fall $80 from peak to trough). But policy choices will determine *how* much better Nigeria does

s. 215(1)(a) of #Nigeria's constitution says: an Inspector-General of @PoliceNG shall be appointed by the President on advice of the Police Council from among serving members of the NPF.

IGP Idris can't be lawfully extended cos he's no longer serving & Police Council hasn't met.
s. 216(2) of the Constitution is v clear: "Before making any appointment to the office of the Inspector-General of @PoliceNG or removing him from office the President shall consult the Nigeria Police Council." A meeting of the Police Council is mandatory pre-condition.
