"Colorado Gov. Polis signed into law Friday a bill that would award the state’s Electoral College votes to the presidential candidate who wins the national popular vote." That makes 12 States & DC, this is great news! #SaturdayMorning

If we'd had this law in 2016, HRC would be in the Oval & we'd all be getting a lot more sleep now! If your State isn't on this list, call your Governor!

1-Just heard John Hickenlooper make remarks to the effect that the Dem party "needs dreamers waving their arms, but they don't seem to get much done" To that I say, the Dem Freshman Congress have been in office for under 3 mos.
2-Making noise and mistakes is a rite of passage for new legislators. We need to give them a little space, a little time & to remember that they're on a learning curve that most of us would run from.
3-Some of the issues that have arisen are potentially pretty serious in nature, but things will settle down, level off.. So let's take a step back and give them a minute. It's a hard job and we really don't need to be infighting. #BlueWave2020 #SaturdayThoughts

As things stand, the electoral college gives an advantage to sparsely populated states.

There are three ways to solve the problem.

The hardest is to amend the Constitution, a ridiculously complicated and lengthy process.
1/ There are two easier ways, but both require grassroots organizing.

The constitution provides that each state decides how to allocate its electoral votes.

So an option is this:
2/ A bunch of states whose electoral college total 271 get together . . .
and agree to allocate their electoral votes to whoever wins the national popular vote.
